His interpretations of songs from British folk rock to the present are done with precision and love. It is though his songwriting abilities that put him in a category of his own. He can be sentimental, insightful, humorous, poignant and biting. At times he seems to take songs to places you never thought existed for a song. Beautifully crafted with a great mixture of wisdom and humor Jud is one of the best songwriters Maine has to offer."
